Summer Reading 2026

Assignments for grades 6-7-8 were given to students before school ended in June. If you need a copy of the book or assignment, please call the Middle School Main Office.

6^th grade: Escape from Mr. Lemoncello’s Library by Chris Grabenstein

7^th grade: A Long Walk to Water by Linda Sue Park

8^th grade: The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton

Additionally, the WHB Middle School library will be open this summer to support students with the assignment. The dates are July 15^th and August 12^th from 10 am – 12 noon.
